Terms and Conditions for Pressure Washing Services

1. General Agreement: By hiring Drop Pressure Washing LLC for pressure washing services, the client agrees to the following terms and conditions. These terms outline the risks, responsibilities, and limitations of services provided.
2. Scope of Work: The pressure washing service will be performed as described in the service agreement or estimate provided. The client understands that the service is intended to clean exterior surfaces, including but not limited to concrete, brick, siding, patios, driveways, and sidewalks.
3. Potential Risks and Complications: While pressure washing is generally safe and effective, there are inherent risks and complications involved, including but not limited to:
-
Damage to Surfaces: Pressure washing may cause damage to delicate or improperly maintained surfaces, including but not limited to concrete, wood, paint, and stucco. Clients should inform the service provider of any known damage or concerns with the surface prior to the service.
-
Increased Wear and Tear: Repeated pressure washing, especially at higher PSI, may gradually increase the wear and tear on certain surfaces, leading to potential damage over time.
-
Water Damage: Excessive water exposure may affect surfaces or surrounding areas, particularly in locations where water can seep into walls, foundations, or electrical systems. The client is responsible for informing the provider of any areas where water damage may be a concern prior to the service.
-
Stains and Residue: Some surfaces may retain stains, particularly if the buildup of grease, oil, or other contaminants is extensive. Pressure washing may not always completely remove deeply embedded stains, especially in porous materials.
-
Safety Hazards: Pressure washing involves the use of high-pressure water and equipment, which can cause injury if not used properly. Clients are required to clear the area of obstacles, pets, children, and any items that could be damaged or present safety hazards during the service.
4. Client Responsibilities:
-
Access to the Work Area: The client must ensure that the area to be pressure washed is easily accessible, and that all objects, vehicles, and obstacles are removed prior to the service. Any items left in the work area may be at risk of damage. Extensive removal of obstacles/belongings to perform pressure washing services may incur a fee of up to $50. Excessive belongings requiring a large period of time to clear may result in rescheduling.
-
Pre-existing Conditions: The client must notify the service provider of any pre-existing damage or conditions that could affect the outcome of the pressure washing, such as cracks in surfaces, peeling paint, or structural issues.
-
Water Supply: The client is responsible for ensuring a reliable water source is available for the pressure washing service. If the water source is inadequate or unavailable, additional charges may apply, or the service may need to be rescheduled.
-
Post-Service Inspection: After the service, the client is encouraged to inspect the area to ensure satisfaction. If issues are noted, the client should contact the service provider immediately.
5. Limitations of Liability: Drop Pressure Washing LLC will not be liable for any damages, injuries, or losses that result from:
-
Improper maintenance or condition of surfaces before the service.
-
Damages caused by pre-existing issues such as cracked, brittle, or deteriorating surfaces and/or sick, dying, or dead plants.
-
Accidental damage to surrounding structures, plants, or landscaping that may occur during the service that does NOT impact the longevity of the item (such as a broken plant limb or slightly displaced gravel).
-
Incomplete stain removal, as certain stains may be permanent or resistant to pressure washing.
-
Any personal injury or property damage resulting from failure to comply with safety recommendations or instructions.
6. Environmental Considerations: Pressure washing often uses cleaning solutions and detergents. The client must notify the service provider of any environmental considerations or restrictions that may apply to the area being cleaned (such as personal preferences, local regulations about chemical use or water runoff). Drop Pressure Washing LLC will take reasonable precautions to prevent environmental harm, but cannot guarantee that all runoff will be contained.
7. Rescheduling and Cancellations:
-
If the client needs to reschedule or cancel the service, a minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required. Failure to provide sufficient notice may result in a cancellation fee.
-
If weather conditions (e.g., rain, freezing temperatures) prevent safe pressure washing, the service will be rescheduled at the earliest convenience.
8. Payment Terms: The client agrees to pay the agreed-upon price for the pressure washing service, as outlined in the estimate or service agreement. Payment is due upon completion of the service unless otherwise specified. If additional work is needed due to unforeseen complications, the client will be notified and provided with a revised estimate.
9. Indemnification: The client agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Drop Pressure Washing LLC its employees, agents, and subcontractors from any claims, damages, or legal actions arising from the service, except in cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct by Drop Pressure Washing LLC.
10. Governing Law: These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Harris County, Texas, United States of America. Any disputes arising from this agreement will be resolved in the appropriate court within Harris County.
11. Acceptance of Terms: By proceeding with the pressure washing service, the client acknowledges and accepts these terms and conditions. These terms are binding upon the client and the service provider once service has been initiated.
